July 23, 2008Chamber Golf Tourney Wins for Community
July 22, 2008
It was a beautiful day on the golf course for the Napa Chamber's 12th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on Friday, July 18th, at Silverado Resort. The beauty wasnt only seen in the weather and scenery, but in the generosity of the Chamber members who attended, raising over $7,500 for the Napa Chamber Foundation. $5,000 of those proceeds will go to the following beneficiaries: Becoming Independent Community Living Supports Program; Cope Family Center Family Economic Success Program; If Given a Chance Foundation; Napa County Farm Bureaus Ag in the Classroom Program and The Ross Game Business Scholarship Vintage High School Student. The remaining money will benefit other community organizations determined later this year by the Foundation Board.
